The Temple Sinai Adult Education program has great plans for the 2011-2012 year.

Temple Sinai is offering three adult education Hebrew classes:

Hebrew I and Hebrew II on Wednesdays 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Hebrew III on Wednesdays 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Series on Jews and Jewish Communities Around the World
 
1) Bruce Greenburg and Diane Statham will be doing a narrative and slide show of Temple Sinai's trip to Israel in June/July on Sunday, October 16 at 9:15 a.m.
 
2) Rabbi Annie will do a presentation on Jews of India on Sunday, November 20 at 9:15 a.m.
 
3) Lonnie Schooler will talk about the Jews of Houston on Saturday, December 10 after Shabbat services at 1 p.m., proceeded by lunch.
 
4) Diane Statham will facilitate the viewing of the film "100 Voices" about the Cantorial Assembly trip to Poland in June 2009 on Sunday, December 11 at 9:15 a.m.
 
5) Marvin and Linda Katz will talk to us about the Jews of Greece/Turkey on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at 9:15 a.m.
 
6) David and Debbie Simon will talk about the Jews of  Portugal on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at 9:15 a.m.
 
7) In conjunction with Brotherhood, Ron Grabois will present a slide show and narrative about the Jews of China on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at 10:30 a.m.

On Friday night, March 9 and Saturday morning, March 10  Learner's Shabbats will be offered in in conjunction with the Ritual Committee.  Come join us to learn about why we pray in the order we do and why those prayers are important.

On Sunday, April 15 at 9:15 a.m. Temple Sinai will present a panel discussion entitled "Jews in the News"  on a current issue.
