Thank you for your interest in Temple Sinai. Temple Sinai is the only Reform congregation on the west side of Houston. Our membership represents a diversity of families, religious observances, backgrounds and origins, and stages of life. We welcome all!

You can find a myriad activities to suit your interests and needs – spiritual, educational, social advocacy, caring, outreach, and social. Our members are engaged and involved in all aspects of congregational life, and we seek to integrate new members quickly into the committees and activities we offer.

• Our warm and intimate Shabbat services on Friday nights and second Saturdays fill the synagogue with song and friendship.

• Our Religious School is known for its outstanding director, teachers and curriculum.  We offer programs and classes for children and teens from preschool to graduation.

• Our Adult Education has offerings for a wide range of interests.

• Our Post-Confirmation class has been a huge success, because this class provides a venue for young adults to learn and discuss diverse and relevant issues ranging from Israel to Anti-Defamation League (ADL), to Sex and Jewish values, in an open and respectful environment.

• We have a vibrant Sisterhood and Brotherhood, and activities for seniors.

• We have an active Caring Committee to help families during times of need.

• Our youth group provides a wide variety of activities, on local and regional levels.

• Our temple Board, Staff, and Rabbi cooperate exceptionally well.

More importantly, we have a group of caring, warm, friendly congregants who have built an inviting and caring environment in which to pray, to study, to socialize, and to thrive.
